Frederick Roth, Jr., P.E. is President and principal owner of Michael B. Schorah and Associates, Inc. Fred received his Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Florida in 1973 and joined the firm is 1985. Fred is an active member of the Palm Beach Chapter of the Florida Engineering Society, American Society of Civil Engineers, the National Society of Professional Engineers and serves on the Peer Review Committee for South Florida Water Management District. Fred has over 45 years of experience in all aspects of land development and civil engineering including municipal, government, institutional, residential and commercial design and construction projects.
Michael J. LaCoursiere, P.E.
Senior Vice President and Co-owner
Michael J. LaCoursiere, P.E., Senior Vice President and co-owner of Michael B. Schorah and Associates, Inc., joined the firm in 1984 after receiving his Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Florida. Mike has over 34 years of experience in all aspects of civil engineering/land development consulting and is certified as a LEED Accredited Professional. Mike currently serves as Mayor for the City of Atlantis. Past community service includes City of Atlantis Board of Adjustment, and Lake Worth Christian School Board President. Mike has also served as a Volunteer Basketball Coach for Upward.org.
Martha H. Carter, P.E., CFM
Vice President and Co-owner
Martha H. Carter, P.E., Vice President and co-owner of Michael B. Schorah and Associates, Inc., received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering with Honors from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 1988. Martha joined the firm in 1992 and has over 30 years of experience in all aspects of land development and civil engineering including large scale stormwater analysis projects, commercial, institutional and residential water, sewer, paving and drainage projects and roadway design and construction projects.
Alicia M. Gomez, P.E.
Project Engineer
Alicia Gomez, P.E. joined Michael B. Schorah and Associates, Inc. in 2019 after receiving her Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Connecticut. Alicia coordinates with clients and governmental agencies and is an instrumental participant in the design and permitting of numerous commercial, residential, and municipal projects. Alicia excels in providing support for these projects using AutoCAD Civil 3D, ICPR, Cascade, and FDOT storm sewer design software.
